The blend of cognitive neuroscience, academic research, and mindfulness creates a powerful combination. With neuroscience as our foundation, we will explore brain changing strategies that when implemented, may have positive long-term effects on academic success and learner agency. You’ll learn how mindfulness can benefit both you and your learners through increased concentration and attention, increased self-discipline and self-awareness, reduced anxiety, and enhanced social and emotional learning. The session concludes with evidence-based classroom strategies to enhance learner engagement and promote lifelong learning.
