Sometimes learning keyboarding just isn't enough for students to reach their goals. In this presentation, the audience will learn a simple way to help students create a digital literacy action plan in which they can define what they need to learn about computers and determine how they will use their time in the computer lab to acquire that knowledge. This kind of structured independent exploration in the computer lab is going to develop within students the essential life skill of self-directed learning as it applies to digital literacy.
