NML wants to inspire an appreciation for the magic and beauty of language. ESL teachers can use our virtual exhibits to teach about American English history and dialects, the history of writing systems, and laugh at the world’s first joke book. Our speaker series brings experts on a wide array of language topics to talk about their research. Teachers share ideas for class activities in our blog and members of our Facebook groups can read the latest language news. The session shows how teachers can use the Museum’s site as a supplement to both their own and their students’ learning.
