CPD is a crucial component in keeping instructors informed of current practices, resulting in the creation of student-centered classrooms. This session provides an example of how the presenters developed teacher training workshops for schools in Kaoma, Zambia in July 2019. Presenters will share their experience of conducting a remote needs assessment and developing training modules with the collaboration of a local partner. Additionally, this presentation will explore the how-to of doing on-site teacher training and its benefits for student engagement in the classroom.
