English literacy skills are fundamental to navigate in the U.S. system and become self-sufficient. By providing a framework of success: literacy, self-empowerment, and a culture of acceptance, the English Learner at-risk will self-motivate and adjust to the literacy systems, new cross-cultural differences; and adapt to the new literacy models while self-empowering themselves. This hands-on workshop will focus on the framework of success, needed to transform English learners at-risk to autonomous, literate English Learners.
