Maryland TESOL Fall Conference 2019

In conjunction with Dual-Language Theory, edu-sketchnoting builds students' capacity for visual-thinking to recall information through the use of a personal visual library. sketchnoting is a simple and quick way to deepen engagement, confidence, and comprehension for English Language Learners across contents, regardless of perceived artistic talent. In this session, participants will practice foundational routines, like building a visual alphabet and learning the components of a good edu-sketchnote. Sample activities will include options for high and low tech.
